  • Can I leave a cat I found at Catfe?
    No, we do not accept stray or found cats directly at Catfe. If you have found a cat, we recommend contacting local animal shelters or rescue organizations who can provide the appropriate care and resources. Our cats come through partnerships with these organizations to ensure they receive proper medical attention and are ready for adoption. If you need assistance, our staff can provide information on local shelters and rescues.

  • Can I bring my own cat to Catfé?
    For the safety and well-being of all our cats and guests, we do not allow outside animals in the café.
  • Are children allowed at Catfe?
    Yes, children are welcome at Catfe. However, for the safety and enjoyment of all our guests, children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. We kindly ask that there be one guardian for every two kids to ensure a pleasant experience for everyone.
  • What should I do if I want to visit but have allergies?
    We recommend taking necessary precautions if you have cat allergies. We provide hand sanitizers and have air purifiers to help mitigate allergens, but please be aware that Catfé is not a completely allergen-free environment.
  • Do I have to sign a waiver?
    Yes, you and your guest attending must each sign the waiver to enter the Cat Lounge.
  • Why do I have to pay an entry fee to visit the cats?
    Your entry fee helps us cover the costs of caring for our cats, including food, veterinary care, staffing, and maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for both cats and guests.
  • Can I adopt a cat from Catfé?
    Absolutely! All our cats are available for adoption through our partnership with Heaven on Earth. If you’re interested in adopting, please speak with a staff member during your visit.
  • What is the adoption process like?
    The adoption process includes filling out an application and a brief interview. Our staff will guide you through the entire process to ensure a good match between you and the cat.
  • Are the cats vaccinated and spayed/neutered?
    Yes, all our cats are vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and have received a health check-up before being available for adoption.
  • Do you host private events or parties?
    Yes, we offer private bookings for events such as birthdays, corporate events, and more. Please contact us for availability and pricing.
  • Do you have any special events or promotions?
    We regularly host events like cat yoga, movie nights, and adoption fairs. Follow us on social media or check our website for the latest updates and promotions.
  • Do I need experience to volunteer?
    No experience is required! We welcome volunteers of all backgrounds. We’ll provide guidance and training during orientation.
  • What’s the age requirement?
    Volunteers must be at least 16 years old. Anyone younger may be allowed with a parent/guardian present and approval from our team.
  • How long are the shifts?
    Most shifts are 1–4 hours long. You can volunteer as often as you’d like, though we ask for at least one shift per week if possible.
  • What kind of tasks will I be doing?
    You might be brushing cats, cleaning litter boxes, greeting guests, helping with events, or even assisting with social media content — depending on your interests and skills.
  • Can I volunteer just for special events?
    Yes! We’re always looking for extra hands during fundraisers, adoption events, and seasonal celebrations.
  • Can I choose my own schedule?
    We do our best to match your availability with our needs. After your orientation, you’ll be able to sign up for shifts based on what works best for you.
  • What should I wear?
    Comfortable, casual clothing that you don’t mind getting a little furry. Closed-toe shoes are a must for safety.
  • Can I play with the cats the whole time?
    While you’ll definitely get lots of cat time, we rely on our volunteers to help keep the lounge clean, safe, and welcoming for all. Think of it as working with the cats — not just cuddling them (though there’s plenty of that, too!).
  • What if I have allergies?
    Please let us know in your application. While we keep the space clean, we can’t guarantee an allergen-free environment due to the number of cats.
  • What are Tabby Tokens?
    Tabby Tokens are our way of saying thank you for supporting Catfé! Earn Tokens every time you visit, interact with us online, or celebrate special moments — then redeem them for fun rewards.
  • How do I earn Tokens?
    You can earn Tabby Tokens by: Booking a session – 15 Tokens Buying a ticket – 15 Tokens RSVPing to an event – 10 Tokens Ordering a plan – 15 Tokens Signing up on our site – 10 Tokens Following us on social media – 2 Tokens Celebrating your birthday – 25 Tokens We also run surprise promos — follow us to catch them!
